I followed the instruction here with the exception, I used 2.2k resistors verse the suggested 220 ohms. I did not try the 220 ohms first, so I don't know if the performance is better.

Use the 2.2k the 220 wont make any difference. I'm useing high torque servo's on my tracker. Also using lazy susan bearings for the pan and tild to take the stress off the servo bearings.

Either The RVGS unit, OpenDiyAT or my diy one using an Arduino with X-bee's. I'm no programmer but can muddle around enough to make it work.

Martin,

Can you add the OpenDiyAT to your list?

Martin,

Thanks, but that's not what I want, I want to ask you to test the OpenDiyAT along with your Hardware.

Did you test it in the rc field already?

Thanks I have modified servo now but I still need help to understand the schematic for the rx. I can't see how to wire the pan and tilt servos.

Any help would be appreciated

In the source code, the servo pin is set to 9.

Code:
//Servos variables
int servoPin = 9; // Control pin for servo motor

Pan servo --> pin9
Tilt servo --> pin10

make a common ground and power the servos with a BEC.

EDIT: upgrade the Connections wiki page with new photo with servo connections
