I have something like this (very similar and also 5k)

So it will be good or not? If not, how to hacked servo without resistors (dont work)?

You can make it work with that pot. But there's some work to it.
First You must have it physically attached to the output shaft, so that when the shaft rotates, it changes the pots position. Then You'll have to rescale the servo.h's 180 degree to fit the resistance change on the pot, when a 360 degree rotation is performed. If it's a 10 turn pot, You'll get a rather small resistance change with a 360 degree turn, compared to the resistance change of eg a 180 degree turn on a std pot.

Grzechu,

Why don't you buy a winch servo instead?

Wasn't simpler?

I have a link in post #1.

Yes that would probably be a better choice. Then connect the pot where the original pot was connected in the servo. But as Jalves says, it's better to get a winch servo. Then the pot is securely hidden and properly connected and scaled.

But... I think I must buy it (again).

Be aware, that the ones HK has in stock now, all turn more than one full turn, even though the description says 360 degree. They have one turn too, but they are in backorder atm.

Hi Jalves,

Thank you for making this antenna tracker open source, today i mount it on my naza quadrotor and the tracker is successfully working at flying field.

Cheers

GREAT!

Thank you for your report

Can you give us more detail in regard to the hardware used and if you did some changes in the code?
Thanks.

hi jalves,

here are the details of hardware im using:

gps:
from bevrc nova osd.

tx:
hobbyking arduino v3 with sparkfun logic level converter.

rx:
arduino UNO.

vtx/vrx:
bevrc 5.8 ghz with crezchu's inverting amplifier, thanks crezchu for sharing.

servo:
hitech 645 and HS-785HB ( 3.5 rotation), added a map function after ch_1 out contrain to limit the pan sevo to 360 degree.

cheers

I'm Grzechu, 2 mistakes in one word! - I know, difficult Polish words

Glad to hear that inverting amplifier is work. No problem with that?

I saw Lawmate 2.4 on osciloscope, and that system also can be fixed, but I dont remember about Vpp (signal is inverted) Now I have also airwave 5.8 and now it's not useful... Time to sell

One picture from me, design for 1.2GHz and biquad, but fox is awful, but it was too late, parts was already cuted
