Is there an "shopping list" for the parts?
And a good guide for assembly?
Looks like a good project

Just as a follow up to the thread I posted. I went out and bought a 5K Ohm potentiometer and applied it to the Futaba Servo. It works like a champ and I now have a perfectly functioning 360 degree servo. I'd highly suggest using the potentiometer hack instead of the 2.2k resister hack.

I follow the Wiki when I assembled mine.

http://code.google.com/p/opendiyantr...ki/Connections

I went with a Arduino Nano instead of a Mini... I'll probably scale mine back to two Nano's vs a Mini and a Uno.

TX:
1 - Arduino Board
1 - 1.8k Resistor
1 - 8.2k Resistor
1 - GPS

RX:
1 - Arduino Board
2 - 100k Resistors
1 - LED
1 - Resistor to match your LED (470 ohm on the schematic)
1 - Push Button
1 - 0.1uF Ceramic Capacitor
1 - 360 degree servo
1 - Servo

For the 360 degree servo I hacked the servo and removed the internal potentiometer and gear stop. I added a external 5k ohm potentiometer.

Hope that helps!

Tnx. That helps i'll start shopping.
So if the resistance in the led is 470ohm the resistor also need to be 470ohm?

No, you just need a resistor so that the LED doesn't burn out. 470ohm is just a suggestion, but something near that should work in most cases.

Ok tnx. Is it ok to use two arduino nano. Is it same board only smaller?
Is the clone boards from hobbyking ok?

How many volts does the capacitor need to be?
And do i need one on the tx side, 47nF?

Any arduino compatible board would be fine, even the hobbyking ones.
Capacitor voltage shouldn't matter (if it is an unlisted voltage it should be fine), but to be safe anything greater than 5v would be good.

What gps do you recomend using?
Is there a better wiring diagram?
I don't understand the servo wiring.

I heard that ublox has a good price and parameters.
http://rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goo...3&productname=

Servos:
Orange line - 360 PAN servo
Yellow line - regular TILT servo
black - GND

And use BEC to power servos.

typicalaimster, I also use 5kohm trimmer and it works perfectly

Yes, you need.

Is a good practice to do a common ground (star common ground, AVOID ground loops).

So you mean that i'll connect all the GND at the same point on the arduino?
Sorry for all the questions, but my english isn't that good.
