Given the energetic staff of volunteers working on it, I can't wait to see how fast this board matures... self leveling gimbal & gps would be revolutionary at this price point! I hope in some small way I can help you geniuses get there.

I wonder how much vibrations are playing a role with self leveling. I know the Skookum 720 has "vibe logging" that is useful for hunting down vibrations that get in the way of self leveling performance (which is very sensitive to vibes BTW). I'm a total newb with the programming aspect, so I wouldn't know if vibe logging is possible with the kk2. Anyhow, it wouldn't have to necessarily log data. Just the ability to record live gyro/acc data on a PC would be very usefull for troubleshooting vibrations in all sorts of applications... not just quads.

Dutch, the way I understand is the "+" pins on outputs 2-8 are all connected together (for servo power). So any bec's you have plugged in to 2-8 will be in parallel if you don't disconnect some red wires. The purpose of this is to provide isolated power to the noisy actuators (servos, esc's, etc). The practice of running multiple linear BEC's in parallel is debatable. I am anal retentive when it comes to efficiency, so you can guess what I do. Never use switching uBEC's in parallel. The manual goes in to this a little.

A sorta related question...
I haven't read it explicitly, but from the manual I inferred that the rx gets power from the input pins. Are all the input v+ pins and the output1 v+ pin on the same node?

the BEC from the ESC will provide the board with the needed 5V-6V.

if you can use 2s,3s,4s,5s,6s,7s etc etc etc is determined by your ESC (and motors)

so if your esc (with build in BEC) supports 3S, then the board can to.. it is powered by the bec, not the lipo directly.

I'm planing to use Turnigy 6A Plush ESC's , they are sort of rated to 3s !

I thought I saw somewhere yesterday that adjusting one or so of the pots fixes that but do not know anything about it yet.

Just bought one as they are back in stock at HK. Probably not for long.

That may be with the original KK boards that have pots, no accelerometers, and 'pseudo self leveling' in the code. The KK2's self leveling has far more potential with the accelerometers; just needs some tweaking to get it right.

I purchased my kk2 while they were in stock 3 days ago; I waited a while before that. The next morning they showed out of stock, and last night they show in stock again. That HK stock indicator seems to be wagging... needs less gain I think. :P

Too pity i didn't research more about the KK2 before ordering.
I have the HK KK V2 board on a quad and i am really happy of it's performance regarding what i paid for it.
The only reason i ordered the KK2 was the Auto -Level function!!
Now i read that it is not working as it should.
Total fail!!!

teopbako, I sorta wish I added both v1 and v2 boards to my order; just to have more options to play with (LOL, I just want to flash stuff). I will try wmp soon if the fw fix takes unreasonably long. Until then the lack of a good SL won't get in the way of fun for me, but it would be nice for the kids & wife.

So I got mine in last Friday and placed it on my tri and the motor layout is reading all motors CW? Is anyone else seeing this?

Thats what it says but does not matter, usually fronts are opposite each other and rear is either but all can be the same.
