The Hobbyking KK2 Flight Controller
Among the many KK2 threads started after this, the official KK2 thread managed to migrate to here.
I feel this thread should be dedicated to builds, custom mixes and any unique or advanced uses of the KK2 such as custom firmware or ports of existing software. Is this a product for noobies who can't be bothered to read flashing LEDs ?. If so, it's just what I need for my son. |

I have seen that too.
However i cant quite figure out all the PINs, as on the Left Side y ou have 5 Sets of 3 Pins and below 2 more rows, on the right Side you have 8 rows, so it could be either up to 8 Motor Outputs on the right side and 5 Channel inut on the left side and 2 outputs for maybe a Camera-gimbal. However if i use a Gimbal i would also like to see Inputs to adjust the Gimbal in flight to get a different Angle of my aerial Shots/Videos.. Well lets see what HK is offering in this Package. The 2 Pin i think 1 may be for a low voltage alarm/buzzer. I am still waiting to find out some more info about the new Heavy Lifter Frame they had announced in a Newsletter last week.... but no Pictures were included |

I really hope that if it is a Multiwii clone they release the source. I'd hate to have to stop buying their batteries on principle.

lol yeah, except if people wanted a 8bit multiwii board, they could have just got them from goodluckbuy for 30-50$

 There is a new photo of KK2 out on twitter. But can't identify anything on it. On the left side second board from bottom you can guess it has a ATMEL print on the controller. EDIT: If I counted correctly 44 legs. It could be ATmega1284? Christian |

That doesn't look like 48LQFP... That's a 44TQFP... Maybe some atmel ARM chip?
