For what vehicle, with what motor? Do you race, or just bash for fun?

The Hobbywing stuff is decent, and very inexpensive if you're looking to save some bucks.

x2 on the hobby wing stuff .

i personaly have and run the mamba sidewinder i love because it can run three cell , pc interface ( with castle link ) , does brushed and brushless motors . and auto lvc so you can not worry about switching from a 2 to a 3 cell .

cons are it is pricy compared to the others .

X2 on the castle. I have three mini sliders that get run on a short dirt oval. Bought the combo package with the 42kv (small one) motor. It works great, a bit pricey, one says 105.00 on the box.
