story to tell:ESKY 400 size FP/CP Heli on one body

ESKY return to the rc market with very attractive prices. I post this infomation on the other threads to attract some of you guys and express my interest to run errands for you guys buying helis or parts cheaply from Headquarter of ESKY.
One of you guys booked 3 set of King 3 kits from me by 30 US$ each.
When I got the King 3 kits from the ESKY exclusive agent I amazingly found that
King 3 has a 5MM shaft with 3mm swallow tube which can perfectly house the 3 mm HBFP's main shaft(V1/V2 both ok). so I cut the King's main shaft by the collar lock and put HBFP's main shaft inside King's.~~~~~what a wonderful match!!!
the two main shaft can get locked in the belt-driven gear slot.

In one word, we can easily build HBFP with a belt-driven tail rotor cheaply. you can also replace the HBFP's main rotor with CUPID V3' 45 D/F any time you want. in the meantime , we own a King 3 for our CCPM venture.
The Radiolink GY100 Gryro works great with ESKY7.5g digital servo.

a King 3 kit cost 30 US$, a HBFP main rotor cost 10US$, a Radiolink Gyro GY100+ESKY 7.5g digital servo cost 20 US$
total:60 US$

with ONLY 60 US$ we can own a 400 CP heli and belt-driven tail FP heli. you can easily source other electronics required locally to finish the build.

What are the chances of carrying out this type of mode on a Belt CP v2 change it from a 450 to a 600?

Belt CP v2 is too away from 600,
you know a 600 size heli is twice as big as a 450 size, while a King 3 is almost the same size as HBFP,just about 100g heavier, which makes no diffence for a brushless power, but make it more strong against the wind

As Vincent said, a 600 is a much larger helicopter than a 450, so it‘s not possible. You can stretch a 450 though to give it a bigger helicopter feel. Also if you want to, you can build a 450 size fixed pitch.

These threads are pretty much dead as I move on to modifying CP helicopters, but there’s some good info in these threads for someone who is thinking about building a larger fixed pitch helicopter.

Here’s a thread on building a fixed pitch 450 size helicopter.

And here’s a thread on how to make a flybarless fixed pitch 450 size helicopter.

Also since I’m at it, here’s a build thread I did a lone time ago on how to convert a king 2 to a fixed pitch helicopter…must likely this is where Vincent got the idea to convert the King 3...it’s the same conversion. If not, then way to go Vincent.

Here Vincent, this video might help you sell some more king kit.

HI Hankster,
Thank you for your reply.
I have king 2 too and I notice than King 3 is really an upgrade to king 2 in regard of the body.

For this conversion, you don't have to do much, but just cut the King 3's main shaft in a right place then put the whole HBFP rotor on it

I cannot view your video, what a pity. Youtube is forbidden in China.
