What I am trying to say is that the layout last year was an exception to accommodate for growth of new grass- it is back to one line, and no one will be on a separate line. Therefor it is a moot point to make about 3d being off the main line.

I'm interested in the layout as well as Jack has a valid point of concern with sport flyers flying over the lake flyers.

That's about how I see it. Given the relatively freewheeling nature of the event, it would be hard to have the lake out there and tell people it's off limits.

It doesn't matter why, that really isn't the point, it is simply the idea of not having the space and needing to relocate one (or more) groups to safely fly at the same time, while also feeling a part of the event, that is my concern anyway...

They never really amount to a hill of beans once we all get there!

Remember, people are coming from many miles away @ $3.50 a gallon pulling trailers, knowing what to expect is really not out-of-line. I have a ball at SEFF, no doubt but I didn't make it last year and had I, I'm not sure I would have liked being at the other end based on friends I've talked to. I know everyone did their best so it's water under the bridge but it happened so it's on some folks minds, I would love to see the layout and know what to expect long before I pack up for the drive... ;-)
