Zoom H2 recorder with dead cat over it. Wind at the beginning was from GoPro.
The rest is from the Zoom sitting on the front of the Weldon rock wall, which hears everything.

Here a slomo test (not mine), not great, but it gives some idea:

As far as I know it's the very first FPV vid posted using the Hero3 Black Ed.
Wasn't meant to be epic, just a quick test of the 720p@120fps mode.
Hero3 has a bit less barrel distortion than the previous cameras so full wide angle
mode is a bit more acceptable to me, but you'd still have a very hard time
seeing a DS plane zipping around in frame.

I cant imagine your jet ski would last vert long sitting there for half an hour cranked at full throttle. Definitely toy for RITCH boys!

Thanks. I'm all about funky music.
The fact that Best Buy received a small stock of them, surprised everyone,
because they're not supposed to be available till November.

BTW, someone pointed out that Hero3 now has a 720p@120fps at narrow FoV setting
(with updated firmware). That mode could be the best one for head mounted filming
of slope and DS planes. I'll give it a shot.

BTW, I won't say this camera is an unmitigated success. Mine locks up almost every time
I charge the battery, and in various other modes as well, each time necessitating
removable of the battery to reset.

They're cooled by the water they're pulling through the jet, and are designed to
be pushed pretty hard (especially some of those beasts). It's not going to last as long as a car,
but half an hour at full throttle is probably not a big deal.
