Setup was done in accordance with the install guide.
The esc's are not beeping. The motors wont arm. Can't figure out what's wrong this time.
Any help will be appreciated.

i had it sorted out. i replaced the Turnigy Multistar 45amp OPTO to earlier version non-OPTO's and it worked.

now, what happened to these new OPTO Multistar's? why don't they work with YS-X6? if you test them individually without passing through the YS-X6 - it works......but not with X6

i also noticed that the throttle is so sensitive on the autopilot, throttle stick input really jerks the frame up and down - so uncomfortably crisp for me. i hit the ground on the 1st test flight and broke the landing gear.
is there a way we can slow down the response?

All you have to do is basicly make sure you set the throttle direction correctly by looking at the GCS and low throttle should be 7 or lower and high is 90-99. If not, then you should do Channel Align again. Next I normally Power my YS and Wifi with a small separate battery, let it connect to my wifi, then go to Init set up, then V stick to arm the motor. (I do believe putting it into Init set up remove the gyro sensor out of the equation. After you arm the motor, give it full throttle then power on all your ESC at once. Wait for the beep... throttle down... you're done.

All it is is you want the YS to output a full throttle signal for all the esc before you power on the esc... In order to do that you have to V stick and full throttle to arm the motor... But in order for it to output the full throttle for all ESC it have to be in zero mode (init mode) Now I am not sure if that's exactly what it does... but it work for me in sync all the esc together.
Thanks! I think this is what I need to do to calibrate these escs. LOL, hope this works and it better be after some hours of thread digging..

Manual servo position vs Realtime servo position

Hi, I would like to understand the difference between Manual servo position and Realtime servo position.
When I play back the log file in PC GCS I see that the rudder in Realtime servo position assumes values up to L13 (with the box background color in red) while in Manual servo position it is with 'MP' value. Even the throttle assumes values different from those of Manual servo position.
Does this difference affects somehow the flight? what to do to correct it?

For me, standard sensitivity of throttle is very good, except when you switch from altitude mode to manual...you can have some...surprise !!! (too much or not enough)...

Manual is much more "assited" than on WKM, and much more easy to fly (with auto-level).
Second position is altitude mode (with auto-level) then third is GPS with altitude holding .

As Maximus says. Manual ,mode is actually a full Attitude mode and a pleasure to fly. I only use Manual mode and Auto Hover mode. I have taken altitude mode off my Tx as I find it not worth it.

Cheers

On attitude mode, motors only start after 20/30% throttle.
You must push up to 55/60% for automatic take off....
