Save time and use time lapse when spray painting the GWS Pico Tger Moth Slope Glider version. Comes all white so the paint scheme options are infinite. Spray about 12 inches away so the propellant loses its sting before hitting the foam. Otherwise, the propellant eats the foam and you get tiny pits, more air drag but like a golf ball, more lift too! LOL!

Update - using the AX 2308N 1100kv brushless Micro Motor from HobbyKing

I'm using the upper 10mm hole and with the stick mount it lines up perfectly with the cowling.

Finished the second GWS Pico Moth (2nd kit) and starting the GWS Corsair. Builds always go better the second time around. The maiden and subsequent flight of this 2nd Pico Moth was 100% better than the first.

Nice of you to make it to this thread. I love GWS for their quality but affordable ARF kits. I'm not a discerning "scale enthusiast" but more into just flying and seeing something built so easily fly so gracefully, whether slowly or warbird fast. I hope GWS not only survives but grow and capture more of the RC market customers. I don't think there are any other RC foam plane companies out there that can put a quality foam kit in a box with a motor, rods, LG, decals, for the same affordable price as GWS.

One suggestion:

Because the Pico Moth, F version Stick, J3F are for beginners... it would be nice if they came with a pack of 6 propellers because as beginners you know they will break the prop a dozen times before getting comfortable,

btw, I'm using a Rhino 2S 610mAh lipo and a GWS 9 X 4.7 SF prop for the Pico Moth and it keeps her nice and slow but with enough power in case I need it. You don't need a 3S for the Pico Moth, too fast a speed and high G turns all the time will eventually loosen the wing struts. Besides, she was designed to be admired gracefully floating around and then coming in for the smoothest landings.
