trex 450 pro or trex 450 sport?

im wanting my first 3d heli and i like the 450 i think its a perfect size and in my price range. what is the difference between the 450 sport and 450 pro? now i know the sport is belt driven so besides that is there like a big flight performance difference? is one more stable in flight?

Sport vs Pro

Unless you are a 3d master, you'd be hard pressed to tell a difference in flight performance. I've been flying for four years now and have only been doing auto's with my 450's in the last six months. A torque tube does provide an extra amount of headroom on an auto, but is much more susceptible to damage. I fly a Sport but used to have a Rave 450. I recommend a Sport for reduced maintenance and increased durability.

Nothing wrong with a 450 belt drive / sport! I like them quite a bit for the 3D dumb thumb factor. I have a TT 500, and am not sure I would ever have a TT 450. Maybe a year or two from now.
