great price - for IR toy cheap cheap decent frame poor electronics decent price maybe alien air rx fits smaller LB frame
lots of options we'll see if any of them pan out fingers crossed - All this will be worth it if I can and fly a tiny tiny quad with DX7 - enough parts for two complete quads indoor and outdoor with extra parts for $115 not bad - questionable but not bad at all

Most excited about the 7mm DDmotors and frame of the Ladybird with MQX installed - Its tiny and so cute. If I keep the mod lite it should theoretically work right?! I dont own anything walkera or Devo so stock wasn't an option.

Alien Air Saucer is small but 2S i believe - dont think the mqx rx can take 2s? I may have to drop the voltage IF I want to use its frame/motors - probably wont though - could convert to indoor ladybird also

if anyone has info/advice about these quads feel free to chime in - these are my 1st so just tinkering really...

ladybird uses 1S 240 lipo - DD7mm - smaller rx - flips - very cheap to replace parts
MQX uses 1S 500 lipo - geared 8.5 - bigger rx - aerobatic - decent price on parts

so...

Converted Ladybird AS3x- everything ladybird but rx and bigger lipo

only question assuming rx will run DD same as it does geared stock configuration is - how much bigger/heavier is the MQX rx than the ladybird rx.

otherwise I hope hope hope this works - 1 of the smallest QUADS for DX7, well worth the bench time...

Hmmm... I've been thinking about such a conversion since a few days ago...
The MQX RX is 5 grams and the shape is almost a 40mm square.(asked this on the MQX thread)
I was thinking parkzone J-3 cub motors since they are pretty powerful.
