That's not even his best stuff. He's hard to film because when he's really on it, you just have
no idea which direction he's going next.

I like watching Bruce fly, but there have been times I've felt a little nervous not knowing which direction he was going next.

I've lost motivation to do more videos. I'm hoping Jarred might get around to doing some more (he has my stuff). If not I'll eventually get around to it!

I have great confidence that he knows where he's going next.

Haha well said. Bruce is the only person who knows where he is going next!

I think I have more footage of him somewhere. I think a lot of people are too awestruck to push the record button on the camera and just end up watching him in disbelief!

Here's a short but sweet vid of our trip to Bird Springs Pass on 6th April. Gives you a great perspective on BSP. It was the first time anyone had DSed the west side and although the action wasn't, well ... big, we really had a hoot. We'd had a big day's flying the day before and a low-key fun day was just the medicine we needed. We tooled around for hours at BSP then headed back to Weldon where the wind was ... well, light. Great light-air DS action, particularly Alex's Stobel. I think this day was when Chris decided "I gotta get me one of them!". This video shows that DS junkies don't need much wind to get a good fix and have fun.

Here is the big one. The day Andrew went 307. Wish i had got some more footage of his flying and also of the aftermath.

I hope Andrew's footage can fill in all the stuff I missed, like the 30" WR and other happenings

OK Alex, you've got me more motivated. Last night I went back to the very start of the trip, when Jarred arrived. This one starts with a bit of flying at Parker on the Monday, then takes up the next day when we get to the top of Weldon around lunchtime to find Marcus and Eveline there and the wind gradually turns on during the afternoon. This was fun to edit. Alex hadn't arrived at this stage.

Weldon 2012 - AvB and Jarred arrive (12 min 46 sec)

I saved this video in a bigger format (720HD) for the first time ... let me know what you think.

We've already posted videos of certain bits of the trip, but I hadn't started on making the series that "tells the story" of the trip. Now that I've done the first video hopefully this will motivate me to keep going!

By the way, remember that all the written reports, which give lots of detail of stuff that happened that didn't get into the videos, are in the "Reports" thread of the trip: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1625719
