I find it more tricky doing the rollers accurately with the cracks than the extravaganza. The extra weight helps to keep things level and smooths the dumb thumbs.

I love doing tail-drags down low, and tail slides up high with this thing!

Next time you are hovering it up a bit high, carefully close the throttle while giving it any control input that it needs to stay stable without that motor torque... it will just back down in it's own wake for at least the length of the plane on it's own before it turns... I have fun trying to predict which way it's going to 'fall out' of the slide, and try to keep it going down backwards for as long as I can...

Looks like jimbo is having way to much fun with the crack. The mind is in the gutter right now, so I'll shut up.

Pitts #1 is so worn out and beaten but it flys better than #2. I really need to sit down and figure why that's happening. Just keep flying #1 so I really hadn't worried about it. Strange thing is the builds on both are the same except lg and velcro mounted battery on #2. Go figure!

Too right buddy, Thats what these foamies are for. I find that the more i fly it, the more i improve, the more fun i have have, its like a never ending circle, until you get as good as JSmith, then i guess it becomes boring... (? hmmm maybe not).
What i am finding though is that on 3S the weak link is the front end, its forever breaking up with the power, the screws coming loose the tie wraps breaking, battery falling off.
But i will never go back to 2S, it sucks!, i tried it again today, as was so bored i gave up and went home.

I hear ya on the speed. I was that way with the cars both real and r/c. Still getting used to the planes and helis so I'm in no rush for the speed boost. The slowness of 2s helps me get used to using the radio, The brain still gets confused after all that time with pistol grip radios.

A little lite entertainment, My new TOY!

First Flight with the Sweasel (Swiss weasel) (2 min 51 sec)

My old toy that was smashed up and since repaired.

Multiplex Akrostar Slope Soaring (3 min 31 sec)

With a pilot trained on the crack pitts, you can fly a 11.5 Oz plane and 2.5kg lead sled on the same slope in the same wind!

You're right. It's been dunked many times. It was given to me as a freebie but in a bad state. So I recovered it and swissed it. Best value fun I've ever had. Zero pounds zero pence, fun factor 10!

Here's the 2nd flight is no wind at all.
Bird Chaser (4 min 5 sec)

Uptime, don't bother with 2s, go straight to 3s. Looking forward to tje vid!

Hi guys. Yes, maiden went well this morning! A great little plane. Really enjoy it as a compliment to the Yak. Different enough to bring both to the field. Video coming soon.
