I got 10 of them and in my opinion they are pretty good batteries. Haven't had the chance to really do the best time limit thing but I'm glad I got them. And shipping time wasn't too bad either. 1 week to me in SC.

Here she is in all her glory. A true beauty. Can't wait to fly it. I haven't cut in the battery slot yet cause I haven't finished building the balance stand to check CG. I've been just picking the planes up with my finger tips and doing my best. Sure that works but with a stand it will be easier to move the battery around and wait for the plane to stop moving.

I just realized why my rudder is binding, the pre cut slot for the wood horn is 1" back too far, when assembling I was just gluing in the slots and couldn't figure out why it was binding until I looked at my Edge 540 placement.

Sweet. Can't wait to get mine now, it should be on it's way up to me right now.

For balancing why not set it with your old method using pins to hold the battery on then fine tune it in flight. I only just got in to that method on my last Twisted build but it works a treat.

That is odd, got any pics? I'd have thought it would stand out like a sore thumb if it was in the wrong place.

OK, somebody else reported that as well. Will add a note to the build.

Well then I'll also add I had to take an extra 2mm from the nose vertical to have the motor mount level.

I'll install a new rudder horn in front rather than cutting out.

Well I guess I messed up the first attempt at loading pics of the CG stand. Any way here it is again. I moved the arms around several times and came up with the same place for neutral. What cha think? Neat little stand. Now I'll have to check all my other planes.

Tom
Heres what I did to balance mine.
