Just saw the news conference announcing the Dodgers new ownership. Wow, they said everything they needed to say and said it right. Of course Magic is the face of the ownership group and is a business/sports icon in the southland. Stan Kasten is a real go getter being very successful with the Braves 14 year run and has built the Nationals into a competitive team today and Mark Walters has deep pockets. Yup, our nightmare is over and it doesn’t hurt that the Dodgers are off to a good start this season.

I’m usually on the fence with regards to Bud Selig, but he really blew it allowing McCourt to leverage his Boston parking lots and purchase one of baseball’s jewels and run it into bankruptcy.
