How's this?
What angle do you want? Let me know and I'll take more.
I have not put the go pro inside the canopy yet.

Nice job Tony ! Well done !

Looks like you have a lot of EagleTree under the hood
Wings reinforced
Actually I was wondering how did you figure out GoPro installation ... where and how it affects your FPV camera.
I decide to put my GoPro one the nose - to keep my video clear - and use GoPro as FPV camera. And because of that - I couldn't put cockpit cover.

Alex, is you GoPro held on velcro only !!!???
One thing Im considering is just mounting the pan servo on the back of Gopro case so both cams have clear view.
Just trying to work out mounting Gopro to the cover so it wont break it or rip off on sudden stop.

Actually it's just original mount with 3m tape. Holds VERY good. I am not 3D pilot

Good to know, I will have to make it bit stronger due to added weight on the Gopro.
Can you get some close up, before I start poking holes in the foam :-)?

I'm not sure where or how I will go about mounting the GoPro. My last FPV plane I had mounted the pan and tilt camera above the GoPro itself. I could go the same route on this plane and just not use the canopy. I didn't plan on using the canopy anyway if a Go Pro was on board. To me, if you are using a GoPro you want clear high definition pictures or video. Therefore you would not want to use a canopy.
I purchased this plane for flying FPV not as a camera or video platform.
I was thinking however about purchasing another cockpit/canopy if possible. If I did want to use a GoPro, I would just change out cockpit assemblies without a clear canopy. I would then just use the Go Pro as the FPV camera.

Ok boys, so whats the idea with the wooden washers ( as per instructions) the will point the motor upwards
Shouldnt they go on the bottom screws??
Or, do we really need them??

Hi:
we have discussed this before,
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1684618&page=9
quoted from post #127:
this is not only to change the orientation of the motor thrust but also very importantly to change the airflow of the propeller, it would be influence the horizontal stabilizer and vertical stabilizer, I tried no to use these Discs, the conclusion is that the airplane tends to nose rightward, you have to use rudder trim a little big left to correct the nose direction. But with discs on to, it fly straight forward and hand free control comes.
another one is:
http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread....eRC.com/page18
Quoted from post #171:
yes, in theory it should be at the side, but not everything is workable according the theory on the book, we tried at the side, the result is get the flight bad enough so do never try it again
get the airflow of the propellery go though the root of the vertical stabilizer is far more significant than to change the "
Reverse torsion moment" so this is the reason
