Went to Cass Ridge today and did around 200 with the scratcho again

Just watched the video Alex. We are all blown away by the place. All of us are daydreaming of ways to get there sooner rather than later! We all search and dream of finding a DS Nirvana, and at the moment, you have found the closest thing for sure. When you said at Weldon that you reckoned you have hills and conditions in NZ that are as good or better than Socal, you were absolutely not kidding.

I am eagerly awaiting the next big NW wind. I want to try up further still. I think that the next step up could be the best ridge for NW

I'm thinking of going over sooner rather than later. The way the chips are falling I have some time to come over in early October, but December could be difficult for me. So I've been talking to Alex about the possibility, and looking at flights etc, and am close to booking to travel over between 3rd and 12th Oct. The idea of maybe getting up onto that Tekapo ridge on a big WNW day is so exciting it gives me butterflies thinking about it.

Well feel free to crash at my house (I'm a friend of Alex living 25 minutes from the site). I'll probably be away at least part of that time so you could house sit.

But being serious, DS shouldn't be just about going fast. Its a form of energy that is fun to play with. Diving in, coming out faster, turning around the other way diving back in, looping out and back in again etc etc. It's like energy for nothing. So cool
