OK here's my Air Combat video. Flying my AXN Cloud Fly with Foxtech 5.8Ghz fpv system, stock antennas, GOSDII, Quanum Telemetry, 420VTL cam with wide angle lenses, Foxtech pan tilt with HXT 900 modded to 180 degree pan, Foxtech AIO goggles, HK Mini DVR recording device and others described inside the videos.

I prefer AXN Cloud Fly because its fast, agile and can easily bail out from trouble unlike my slow Sky Surfer @ Bixler. Let's hear what setup you have on your rig.

Hi.
I have a couple of the old sonic combat module that i guess would be great fun FPVing like you did.
But i have a question. What video frequency was used on the other plane???
Me and a friend are flying on 1.3GHz and we want to try long range formation but even when we use the two extreme frequencies on that band we still get some interference when flying near to each other.
Any info on how others have done it when using one video band?

Well the other plane that i chase isn't FPV. However last time we did have both 5.8ghz running but separated by different channel. Mine at CH=56 while others at CH=59 apart so there should be a good big gap in between within the bandwidth spektrum. Our transmission power is at 200mw, so interference knock off is minimal. We once got hit by 500mw, so i think if you flying in pairs better separate yourself with different channel setup and use low MW power.

I might be wrong but we're in luck at that time. Maybe Ibcrazy could give us some tips.

Oh yeah i remember something. He was on 5.8Ghz Fatshark...that Airwave thingy. I was on Foxtech. I think thats why it doesn't cause much problem on that day but we do have problem when nearing some trees.

In my case i use 1160 and my friend is on 1280.
When in ground side by side we get a lot of static.once airborn it clears but not as when only one is flying. All that up to 2.5Km as beyond that i had to return as the picture was getting worse.
He uses a patch and i made myself a BiQuad as per IBCrazy (Thanks)

We both fly with DL UHF so it is not needed.
The problem is that our video Rx's are receiving interference from each other.
Nobody had met/solved such an issue?

Well if you could post some vids how it would look like we might get a clue. Btw i'm making another dog fight video again. I got my wingman so hopefully i could mod my HXT900 servo to 360 degree pan for better view on the flight formation.
