Don't know yet. It can be esc, bearing or something got in the motor.
The motor had 100 flights before in my few of my Habu.
So hard to said what happen.

Don't erase your post, just edit it to show the mistake. I think more than a few will make this mistake from the instructions in the manual.

So very sorry that happened Tam. I hate that feeling.
About the failure:
I vote speed control. Sounds like you lost a leg. Either connector problem or internal.
(Had similar problem recently and speed control lost an output chip, made the same loss of sync sound that yours made)
But let us know.

Where are you guys getting this jet? They seem to be pretty hard to find.

The mud get all the way to the motor. What a mess.

First flight was cant see much was triming but you get the idea.

I expect these will be hard to find or a while. I have heard the next shipment is end of May. Most of us who got one had them on pre-order at our LHS that participate in the preview program. My LHS has 12 pre-orders, but only got two. Keep looking, you may get lucky.

Well, mine is pretty much built. I have about 15 hours in so far. Very nice kit. It went just as described in the manual. Everything fit, and went together smoothly. One of the rare builds that I didn't have to run out to the LHS for some part or other. I did a completely stock build except the servos as described in my first post. I did not use the screws supplied with the retracts or kit. Like many others I found them too soft when I built my Habu-32, so I just went ahead and used some better ones I had on hand.

I have not installed the cockpit yet. I would like to do a nice one on this jet. But I am an IMAC guy and don't have much scale building background. I am hoping that one of you guys with lots of scale experience will come up with a nice cockpit/pilot kit for yours that I can copy.


I loaned my ESC, and AR-8000 RX to a pattern friend so he could go to a contest this weekend. When he returns them I will get them installed and programmed.

Speaking of ESCs, I will be using a CC ICE 100 with the stock motor and fan on 6S. Anyone have an optiimized ESC program for this setup?
I'm looking to do the maiden Wednesday or Thursday this week. Once I get it dialed in, I will post my 11X setup

Sorry about the poor video son was shooting with cell phone. after i got it trimmed it flew great but he missed the one full power pass i did the rest of flight was at 1/2 power with winds at 20 to 25mph. better video to come...

I have a Stumax setup to go in my F4 when ever they arrive in Aus. I picked it up from him directly out of his workshop. A hell of a nice guy and very knowledgable about EDF stuff as well.
