These look very nice but, they are 6.5oz. Does anyone have the weight of the stock eFlite retracts? And thanks for Gens Ace references! Aaron |

The E-flite listed weights are 1.7oz(48gm)nose unit and 1.4oz(39.5gm)for each main.
Not sure that includes the wire strut and wheel. I think the schulmans are very light for being full suspension struts. This F-4 would be much nicer to land with full suspension. With the stock wire struts it can start hopping badly unless you grease the landing. |

Pilot
Does anyone know if there is a better scale pilot to buy for my F-4, the Habu pilots look like crap and not scale at all, you would think that with all the detail they put into this plane that they would of done something better on the pilots. I found these pilots on this link but not sure about the size, it looks about right but might be to small.

Fan
Guys - check out what I got in the mail today. It's a 90mm CS 12-blade cut down to 80mm. This fan will be going in the Phantom which will hopefully be done in time for LA Jets next weekend.
Apparently there aren't many of these fans around in the US ![]() Motor is a HET 700-60-1738. Gonna run it on 6S. Should be around 2200 watts I reckon. Should have a nice should too ![]() S |

I'm curious to see how this one performs on 6S. We finally got into assembling the Phantom and man does e-Flite do a fabulous job with this little rhino. Such a beautiful kit indeed. Trying to have it done by next weekend for LA Jets. I have Tam's struts for it which IMHO is a must for this jet. S |
