Yep it's 1/4" with a 7/32" sleeve on the motor end so it's a good fit around the .187 flex.

I was one tired old dog after getting in last night but on the good side didn't have to work today. Inventory got finished last night. Since I was expecting to have to work today had nothing planned on my calendar. So...
Managed to get the esc's in already this morning and most of the plumbing ran. Still have to do the exits after deciding where to put them. Threw a couple of 5s 5000's in the sponsons and it balances about 9.75" from the rear of the sponson transoms with the hatch on. (about 31%).

Bill looking good now , if you use velcro for mounting your speed controllers you can move them to adjust your C of G without adding more weight

Should be ready for sea trials at our next test n tune day. (next Sunday).
It's pretty much finished now except for packing the stuffing tubes with grease. I test floated it in the tub a little while ago and after a couple of minutes it did get a tiny little bit of a drip where the flexes come out of the tubes on the motor end.

Edit: just put it on the scales.Hull, hatch and hardware (rtr minus batts) comes in at 7 lbs 10 oz. or about 3.5 kg.

Looks great Bill. Ive been slacking on the forums due to work overload. Cant wait to see the vids you will take tomorrow. Wish I could make it, but cant complain about the work thats been ruling my life for the moment. I hope to have my twinny done for 4th Sunday.... or at least real close. Kept my scheme simple

1st run on my Cheetah was really disappointing. Looks like it belongs on a farm with the way it was plowing. I was surprised the GPS said it was that fast as wet as it was running.

Bill whats the weight of the boat including batterys ?,

please can you post a overhead "plan" photo of the boat showing both props and rudder position , if you could also post a side on shot showing hull running line ,stinger angles and rudder position
