Great video, very smooth.. Where in the world was that taken?

Did it need any post stabilisation?

Alexsey,
could you pls explain that more detailed - I am not sure I follow you.

I recall Jelico going through some trial and error with the naza. I'm about to make my purchase and I'm wondering if the naza will get me the results I'm hoping to get.

I have had solid results from my orinal setup with the Naza (original "pre-GPS" firmware) and MG930 servo/HK401B gyro combo. For those that have that setup here is my settings from the Naza assistant:

Gimbal
F2 Max 1000, 0 1000
F1 Max 1000, 50 1000

Pitch gain =16
Roll Gin =20
Speed =3

Aleksey - I am about to go through all this again with the new firmware and the Turnigy MEMS gyro/MKS DS9670 combo. Would you mind putting your Naza assistant settings online for us?

There are no universal values.

Gain for this Ecilop Esasy is 12

Gain for this Ecilop Stereo is 14

Here is a sample video from the drone which is now on sale:

whos running mt3506 motors?
what naza gains are you running with which props.

thinking of upgrading from my unknown motors, and getting some wooden props. xoar or poss those new gemfan ones,

also what flight times are you getting. im just being a litlte indecisive, because at 35 each, they're pretty pricey motors ha

I have been doing some work on my ecilop and I posted another video with a new problem.
What is going on with the tilt?

Yes I thought so too. But if I turn it a little up my servos starts vibrating. Should it be like that?

no, they shouldnt vibrate. sounds like your gyro's are in headlock mode instead of rate mode if its vibrating lots.

Do not use a cable ties to fix the gyro, use a soft pad only. Noise of the servo is transferring to the gyro by a plastic belt.

How to configure gyroscopes on the Ecilop mount:
As gyroscope is responsible only for swinging avoidance, it can be adjusted without flying controller by giving signal directly from receiver.
Adjustable parameters of gyroscope:
If gyroscope is not weakening but straightening the swinging - reverse to be turned on;
Delay parameter - minimum;
Limitation of the servo motion - maximal motion with no limits;
Exponents and proportions - not to be used;
Reaction speed - maximal;
Servo type - establish according to the factual;
Work mode - necessarily "Rate" or "Normal"
Adjustment of gain rate is as follows:
Start with maximal reaction rate. If mechanism starts to tremble when gimbal is not moving then lower the reaction rate. Push the gimbal with You finger – it has to move back smoothly to its place with no swinging. If swinging appears than gyroscope reaction is insufficient, increase the gyroscope gain value. If during maximal gain rate swinging is noticeable following may help: use faster servo with minimal dead band, use more tight springs, use another gyroscope. When the equipment is turned on, the gimbal must be stable, otherwise the gyroscopes will be initialized incorrectly and the camera will be tilted. If the onboard controller generates a high-frequency PWM signal, some simple gyroscopes may not work.

I think I maybe found the problem. I used the gyro programmer and turned down LPIRGAIN and RPIRGAIN fro 200 to 100, and it seems to help on the servo vibrating, what value do you use on these?

But I still have problem with roll gain in naza, beacause there seems to be more gain to one side than the other.

Is anyone using the Sigma 19mm/30mm, Zeiss 24mm or any of the Rokinon lenses for video? Opinions versus the 18-55mm kit?
