It's possible to help? 2 questions:

1. What is the best gyroscopes? I was looking to Turnigy Mini MEMS.
I don't find any conclusion about this.

2. Ecilop can handle cameras like Sony CX760 with +/- 600g of weight?

Anyone using CX760 ?

it can do continous shooting, but probably only once every second.
much faster in manual than autofocus

I had older version of IR switch, it had only photo shooter.
New version can shoot photo, and record video.

With MF i coud shoot 1pps using nex 5 and first IR version.
Hope nex 5n with new IR shooter will do it faster. Have to try it.

Hello, i'm testing my ecilop with a ys-x6 now. Seems fine so far, waiting for the rain to stop for a real first flight. Will post some video soon.
As for payload i'm using a six cell setup with kopterwork kw10,s and graupner 14x 8s. will do a payload test soon. take off weight with 4000mha is 3.3kg.

Hi Whizz, what camera are you using? i'm trying to figure out if it's possible use a heavier camera with 600g.

cheers mate.. just what I needed to read/hear.. I was afraid that everyone was boycotting the y6 product becuase of the old "looks like an ecilop thing" :0 that these guys are flogging.

the flight controller has great reviews here in Aus with plenty of success from early adopters, ur rig sounds close to what I want to build out.. keen to keep tabs on your project!

I managed to put together my own IR trigger for photo and video today. I am not sure of the complete range of Sony cameras that this covers, but it works for my Sony Nex-5N. It could be adapted to work with other cameras by referencing the related projects in the code header.

I scanned a pretty good range of codes looking for any other features and only found three (instant photo, delayed photo, video toggle).

The code is currently for Arduino.

You setup a switch mix on your transmitter to put out different PWM signals. When a targeted PWM signal is detected, it outputs the associated trigger code via IR LED. I am mixing two switches, one for mode select and one to trigger. It can also run continuously at the set delay interval. I omitted the delayed photo function in my example because I didn't see much need for it in this application. However, it could be added to the main loop if you wanted to.

to use the hdmi converter to get the nex live feed do you just use a hdmi to mini hdmi cable?
anyone know of any really short ones?

or a cheap place to get a fpv cam in uk? mine decided to die

Yes, I have a DX8. The instructions are not clear. You must first assign "Inh" inhibit to the switch you want to assign to another channel. Then you can programme it

Easiest way is to assign Inh to all, one by one. Then select the Inh setting for each channel and use the scroll wheel to assign the rx channel to the switch

Stating the obvious perhaps, but you must be in prgramme mode ie - start the DX8 with the scroll button held down and select "Sw select"
