Question
RC CAR engine in a RC PLANE??????

Hi guys i was just wondering if an RC car engine would work in an RC plane? It's for a Scratch Built High Wing Trainer with a 1.6m wingspan . The RC car engine is a 0.16 but there's not to much i know about it.

Thanks

Here's the link to my build by the way http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1638287

Car engines are generally very high revving and will only run a tiny prop. Plus 0.16ci is very small for a plane that size. You'd normally use something more like a 0.40-0.46.
