Yeah... I pounced on a dozen Nanos the day they came out... Now just waiting for words on the new Tx -- I thought I might have missed out on something when this thread dried up so quickly... Maybe folks are just tired...

No news on the transmitter. The current status is: hardware and RF completed. The firmware is still being worked on.

I would say that as long as the "firm"ware is being molded into shape, it should be called "soft"ware. Of course, following this logic, "firm"ware should become "solid"ware after a few additional releases.

Thanks for the update, Jim! I'm looking forward to getting my hands on one when you have it ready for market.

GB, have you thought anymore about a radio case for the new XPS radio? It's a funny thing to watch the JR and Futaba boys and their radio cases, you almost trip over them, they really want them to be seen. It will also be funny if some of them switch over to XPS, maybe Jim ought to make some that cost $1500 so they can switch and save face. I can't wait for the XPS radio for come out just to see what will happen. I believe you could do well to offer a sharp case for out new radio. Thanks, Tim

Actually yes, I have a request in with the company that makes my favorite case. Looking to do aluminum edging and corners with either gloss black or glossy carbon finish! Will post a photo when I can get a sample in.

GB, that is great, I can't tell you how bad I would like to take a sharp gloss black case to a fly in with the XPS logo on it, open it up and take out an XPS radio out and set it on top of the case. To be wearing an XPS golf shirt would make it even better. I guess I am crazy, but I am getting really excited about all of this XPS stuff. I have an Ace MicroPro radio on XPS with 8 receivers and I have not had any problems plus I like the size and price of the receivers. BTW what is the name of your company and do you have a website?

he should be O.K. to crash as long as the stickers are 'low tack' and the shirts 'reversible'.

Go to about 00:44:30 for radio related.
Before the above time, he is talking about battery, jet and duct fan.
