Well it made my steering tight. Meaning the little play I did have is now gone. I can tell a difference in recovery as well.

Thanks Gary my dad went ahead and did ours over the weekend. By the way the bearings Full Pull listed are heli bearings. Not the others you sent in the email. The screws were the hardest to find. Robert help us in that department and told us where to go.

We used the numbers FP gave. The parts # came up non flanged at the hooby shop. There tiny bearings CRA plus the old screws you removed? They cannot be used. New ones to be found. For that we used the screw size FP posted. It took dad a half hour to do the mod.

I finished mine a few minutes ago and fairly happy. It is what it is a smoother steering IMHO.

Heres a tip Dug if you want to run it by your pop. Use a bearing shim on each side pf the linkage. It reduces friction from your screw used to lock in your bearing. Basically the shim is a tiny washer that resides on the inner housing of your bearing. The shim will keep the screw head from coming in contact with the bearing and allow a smooth spin.

The shims / washers do help. Full Pull came up with some other uses for them to but he's not sharing his knowledge LOL.

You'll also find shims on your front axles and rear axles to Dug.
