Hey I wonder how well plastic welders cement would work on epo foam. I know its a good glue to use on epp.

By making a too strong glue bond, you're going to take out the engineering attempts (if they are) to create breaking points that can be easily fixed. That's the advantage of cyanoacrylate, it gets brittle and breaks and thus takes the stress out of the parts that are glued together...

That's my opinion, having broken and glued often

I think some of you need to keep a sense of perspective on this. Anyone expecting blistering speed from a foamie of this shape really is asking for the moon on a stick.

So this model has also had fluttering on 3s, obviously, not just on 4s....

I will try it again on 4s tomorrow with a more nose heavy CoG(74-75mm) and see what happens, other changes I have made are too the aileron servo mounting holes. I have filled gaps around the servo with epoxy to try stiffen the evident weak point in the wing. Not expecting miracles but just keen to see if CG has a huge affect on it all.

Wouldn't surprise me if you can overspeed the zeph without power. You curtain my can with the st model blaze and the dynamic s.

I would restrict high speed runs to level flight only

Have you flown this model yet? And are you suggesting not to put this plane in to a dive even though it has been said and promoted as a aerobatic glider?

Not flown it yet, still in transit.

No, I'm not suggesting not to dive.

Just saying that overspeed larks. But never mind, you do your high speed runs in a dive, and I'll just sit back and see what happens.

Have you done anything to strengthen the wings? 3m packing tape is worth a try.

But will it stand up to 4s? Sadly, many Zephs will die to bring us this information.

BTW, all planes can glide.
Some planes are sometimes referred to a 'bricks' because that is about the way they glide. Others glide darn near forever. The 'maths' may point at the correct end of the spectrum, but if 'maths' is all there is to it there would be no need for test pilots, the engineers could 'decide' everything ahead of time.

Anyone even slightly interested in contributing something could have understood that I was hoping for a response from someone who actually knows something about this particular model. You don't. You have not even flown one. You're response was about as useless as the HK video.
