Hi RC Flyers fans,
I just wanna share with you some information about this wonderful Concorde.

Many months of hard hard work into it. It's been a big challenge to reproduce
exactly this concorde on scale of 1/25.
Here are some characteristics:

Length : 2.50 m
Wingspan : 1 m
Weight : 2.9 kg including battery
Made in EPP Foam
EDF Fan units : 2x Wemotec minifan 69mm
Motors : 2 x HET Typhoon 2w25
Controllers : 2 x Turnigy 60A
Battery : 6S 5000 mah 40C
Retractable Landing Gear

Facts :
It will be available mid july 2012.
The kit will include everything inside except the receiver.

The plane comes in 3 parts. Nose and tail are very easy to remove for transportation!
British Airways and Air France decals included.
3 Hours of construction only.
300 kits for Europe and 200 for USA available only.
The pictures below are from the prototype. More will follow with also video in HD.

No dropping nose?

Where will this be manufactured? Can the nose droop for landings? And why only 300 for Europe and 200 for the U.S.?

Thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately no dropping nose... It would have been fragile and too many complications for
development and cost production. Besides anyone can still make the modifications if desired.
Foam is easy to work with.
Two offices will open soon. One in Tampa, Florida for the US and one in Paris for Europe.
500 kits in total will be manufactured. Not more. 300 are expected to be sold in Europe and 200 in USA.

I enjoyed the video but I just have one comment. It needs to run quieter fans like the Changesun 10 blade variety. The days of "dentist drill" sounding jets is over.

Tampa is just down the road from me, can't wait to see the production version. Any chance of getting just the airframe with no electronics?

Hi guys,

We have thought about the Changesun 10 blades configuration with Typhoon
2w30 (2200 kv) 6S but did not have enough time to make benchmarks.

We will do this soon. This is the prototype and for the first flights we just wanted to use a "classic" configuration. We needed to validate many many things like the wing profile, landing gear... ... before adding edf choice also.
Wemotec choice is not final yet. We will try others soon and take a decision!

Yes Airframe only will be available as this plane at this scale is for real advanced flyers and we'll let them free to configure this beauty as they wish!

Yes Michael we will let u know as soon as the european web site is opened for more information and and taking pre orders.

All pre orders made on European and US websites will be free of charge with no deposit. Reservations will be required as only limited quantities will be manufactured.
