Droidworx AD6 receiver ready OR BNF. FPV ready
I'm going to regret this I know it, but here we go.
Up for sale is a very nice Droidworx AD6 Hexa
Whats included is the following:
Droidworx AD6 Hexa frame with standard landing gear and two extra center plates
6 Avroto 2814-11s 770k motors
6 Hobbywing Platinum Pro 40amp speedo's (NOT the cheaper pentium/plush/dys speedo's)
6 Gemfan 12x4.5 cf reinforced props with a few spares
Multiwiicopter's Voltaire power distribution board
Futaba R6203HV SB receiver (sbus to the Naza)
I can remove this if you fly some other form of TX
Castle CC Bec Pro set to 12v to feed the XEN controllers and 12v FPV camera
2 XEN LED controllers with infrared remote (multiple patterns can be selected, brightness, individual strips, etc)
Immersion RC EZOSD with GPS and 100amp Current meter
2012 (new version) ImmersionRC 600mw 5.8ghz TX
IBCRAZY Bluebeam 5.8ghz RCP whip antenna's for the ImmersionRC TX and your RX (goggles or groundstation)
ImmersionRC UNO 5.8ghz RX
700TVL FPV cam with built in osd controls (sony video)
Quanum 2.4ghz battery telemetry tx
AeroXcraft 2 axis Go Pro gimbal attached with the AeroXcraft Droidworx mount.
Spektrum H3000 digital servo's for the gimbal
Quadrocopter.com anti vibration standoffs for the FC mounting plate.
One spare Avroto short shaft prop adapter/accessory kit
Two red 12 led strips on the left booms
Two green 12 led strips on the rigth booms
One blue 12 led strip on the front boom
One Orange 12 led strip on the rear boom
I've also added Navi lights (blinking and fading) to the front and rear of the landing gear plates, but didn't hook them up. You can do this with the
enclosed controller board that I will include
The LED strips are all controlled via the two XEN LED controllers. Very neat setup that you can control with the remote.
FPV hardware was purchased in late march/early April
The Naza was purchased in March from rcdude.com
The frame, motors and esc's were purchased in February
This hexa, all up as you see it, has been flown approx 20 times in the front yard/culdesac and only twice at a flying field
a 5000mAh 4s pack provides 8 minutes of flight time consistantly!
I've been using Flightmax 25c 5000mAh 4s packs and after an 8 minute hop, there is approx 20% left in the pack. I fly on a timer.
The links I've provided are from where I purchased everything.
This Hexa has seen NO crashes or tip overs. Its very solid.
I previously tested it out with the Multiwiicopter Paris 4 Rev 3 controller, but installed the NAZA for the rock solid ALT hold.
The power distribution is handled via the Voltaire board for the main electronics and the CC BEC Pro for the FPV 12v cam and LED controllers.
Everything is fed via the main flight battery. If you wish, it would be very easy to separate the FPV equipment from the main flight distribution board and use a small 3s lipo pack. I had it setup this way, but decided to just use the main pack feed. Simple setup this way.
Battery connector is the XT60.
The Aeroxcraft gimbal will need you to fine tune via the NAZA gimbal gains.
I have relocated the FPV cam to the front right side of the Landing gear plate. Its mounted with a rubber grommet for vibration reduction/isolation. I had mounted it to the droidworx gimbal plate previously but didn't care for it there.
The reason I am selling this (I may pull the ad due to potential sellers remorse) is that I am taking my interests in a different direction for now. Still RC related, but not so much multicopter.
I've got a good bit of money into this Hexa, and will price accordingly, but if you are looking for 50% off retail, look elsewhere
I will remove the Futaba RX if you are unfortunately flying some other brand of TX, and will subtract $70 off the price.
The rest of the gear stays on it. Of course I could remove the FPV hardware, but I think there may be a buyer who wants a turnkey system and will leave it as such)
With regards to shipping..
Depending on Dimensional weight calculations, I will try to ship this WHOLE and unassembled to anywhere in the CONUS. Shipping cost to CONUS is on me.
I will ship this to Australia and or NZ, but it will be partially disassembled (remove and disassemble the landing gear)
If shipped to anywhere in the CONUS, shipping is on me
If shipped to Australia or NZ, please add $25 to the cost to cover the added expense
I've got approx $2600 into this setup.
I will sell it shipped to CONUS for $2200
Minus $70 if you don't want the receiver.
IF you don't want the NAZA, take off $200
I would consider removing the FPV gear. Talk to me about that if you have no need for it.
Paypal with no fee to the buyer.
Retail price breakdown
2 extra DW center plates
6 Avtroto 2814's
6 HW Platinum Pro 40amp esc
Immersionrc 5.8ghz TX
ImmersionRC UNO 5.8ghz RX
BlueBeam 5.8ghz whip antenna's
700tvl fpv cam
AeroXcraft gopro gimbal with DW mount, and two Spectrum H3000 digital servo's
misc parts and pieces, props, etc
I will take some more pics when I get home today if needed AND I will try to do a video "walkaround" of the hexa and show the different LED light modes for those who might be interested"
PM OR email me with any questions.
