Vintage & Old-Timer Plans PRE 1977 PLANS ONLY

I love general aviation planes. I particularly like the low wing variety such as the Mooney M21 series, Piper Cherokee's and similar twins. I have been watching the "Vintage & Old-Timer Plans PRE 1960 PLANS ONLY"
thread that starts at http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1265873
and is approaching 10,000 posts including thousands of uploaded plans in only 2 years.

That thread is great but there is a lot of dissention there now. For that reason I am starting this thread with the hopes of pickup up the pre 1977 plans that are out of copyright. I am not familiar with international copyright laws but the US law placed a 26 year (correct me if I am wrong) protection period on that copyright. The copyright holder could then renew that copyright if they desired. On Jan 1, 1977 that law changed. That is why I am placing the Pre 1977 limit on the plans that I hope will be posted in this thread.

Again, plans or articles are NOT to be posted that are still under copyright protection without the express written permission of the current copyright holder. I must also add that plans currently being sold by publishers such as AMA, Flying Models and Carstens, Air Age and Model Airplane News, RC Modeler magazine and plans, and similar publishers should not be posted. We need to continue to support the businesses that support our hobby. A business that no longer offers a plan may still have a copyright to that plan.

In short, if there is any question at all about a plan that you want to post then do not post it.

I also hope that pre 1960 plans will continue to be posted in the "Vintage & Old-Timer Plans PRE 1960 PLANS ONLY" thread and that thread continues to grow like it has.

There were a lot of plans in the 1960 to 1977 time frame that I particularly liked and think othes might enjoy them too.

Thank you.

Did you mean to say "are NOT to be posted"?

Very much my schoolboy era, so I'm all for this!

I'm also all for MD editing posts (including mine!) that may wander off the point of POSTING PLANS, the DESIGNS or DESIGNERS THEMSELVES, the MERITS OF THE MODELS, and peoples MEMORIES!!!

...if you get my drift!!!!

Ooops. My mistake, I was crediting the wrong source. Turns out the Aeromaster plan was originally posted by PD1 (and scanned and cleaned up by him too) back in the other thread here - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1195 - back in November 2010. My mistake, I really thought it originated from that French site. Doh.
