Srv-1

Does anyone have experience with the Dry Dock SRV-1 Sub? I would like to know your experiences with it if anyone would like to comment. Thanks Tom

I guess no one has any thoughts on this sub. I was hoping at least someone posting a reply. I love the idea of the PVC pipe being made into a reasonably nice looking research sub. I was hoping someone had one to see how it performed. How deep it can go etc.. any thoughts?

Just read about the SRV-1 at Mike's Subworks. An interesting looking sub. The price isn't bad for a kit even though you have to buy and instal the electronics. So I'd like to hear people's thought's as well.

I recieved the kit a month ago, been real busy with stuff and hadn't been able to start the build. The guy who designed this kit is a genious. It is sched 20 pipe, That is more than thick enough. It is plumbing pipe. However it is an extremely well engineered. It is a WONDERFUL kit for anyone that wants to build an RC sub with PVC pipe, and make it realistic and wellbuilt. I reccomend this kit to ANYONE that wants to build their own WTCs and PVC subs. This guy is a genius in my opiniion as to how he designed a dry hull sub with air bladder and all that. I got the whole thing, the ballast system and the Polk Radio which is in it's self a wonderful product. Mike's Subworks sent it and got to me in less than a week from ordering. Packed well enough to be air dropped. The battery pack sent with it was masterfully made and that is my synopsys (sp?) on this kit. can't wait to get it in the water!!!! Nice kit to learn and get the deck kit!!! much cooler looking with that than without.
