cox black widow new in box. help please...
I found this at a local thrift shop. marked $25. Can you guys give me an idea of it's actual value? if it is a great deal is anyone interested in it ?
I have no use for it and I will haggle price down if I can. I hate to see it go to a kid that doesn't know it's value (if any), if it can go into the hands of someone here that wants it. |

I'd rather it go to a kid who didn't know its value than to some old fart who's gonna stick it on a shelf as a collector's item but that's just me.

Good find!
The last engine I bought new was a Cox .010 TD from a LHS that was going out of business. It was the last engine he had left, Paid $45 for it. Clancy |

25 bucks is a good buy for most Cox engines that are NIB and a Black Widow is no exception. Contrary to popular belief there are lots of guys using 1/2 A engines. I have one r/c and five C/L airplanes with Cox 049's or 051's on them.
