[QUOTE=Mikarro;24142970]so you want FrSKY t-shirts for free.

I'm more of a Bowler kind of guy

And for free? Not really. If it didn't cost so much I'd probably have an embroidery pattern made and make myself a bowler. If the "Elephant" transmitter is nice enough I might anyway.

OpenX9D sources.
The developers have it as a specifications document, but probably is confidential in this status.
For the radio point of view is more a RC protocol, the telemetry part is decoded internally in module and output on S-port.

☆ A special section for FrSky transmitters will be accessible after the China Spring Festival.

That could mean next week

Electronic activity of who ?
They are already building HoTT systems in Korea, nothing is build in Germany, and design is theirs also.
Who stops them to make some cosmetic changes and sell them under own brand ?

On the other thread, people here seems more interested about the X9D case, not the radio itself which means electronics and software, else I can't explain the lack of interest / questions about the new radio build I started last weekend in my blog. Or maybe my post above was too cryptic

Probably too cryptic for some of us. I see you taking a part a tx and I guess changing or putting in your own parts, but that's it...not sure what that's all about, but that's just me. I like looking and reading about stuff, but yeah when you don't say anything else, specially on a forum, things will just get buried. I also just stop reading those threads and move on. Kind of like this one as there's not much else since the radios are still being "developed" I guess. So there's no point in reading anything else, usually.

the radios re being checked I think.. and open source software for them is also being ported.
I think frsky wants to have the best quality (for the price) possible..
I don't mind that they take longer if they are checking for imperfections and correct them.. I prefer to wait and buy something that works 100%. But that's just me

Metal or CF isn't always better than plastic in every case. The Swift 550 NX is a lot more durable than the Swift 550 Carbon.

Has the new transmitter been released for sale yet?

I'm sorry I haven't got the time to read the entire thread.

I'm watching that thread with interest. I've subscribed, I just haven't posted.

He's not putting his own parts into the old case per say, he's putting in FrSky parts from the upcoming radio.
