Powerline Hobbies 52" Albatros DVa
Since I was a kid, I had this fascination with the exploits of Manfred von Richthofen. It must have started when my father took me to the movies when the movie "Von Richthofen and Brown " came out in 1971.
Anyway, I bought this ARF about a year and a half ago. When Parkzone and Hangar 9 announced they were coming out with Albatros planes, I got the bug and started this build. Its not a exact replica of the Baron's plane, but its close enough for me.

Hi John, and congratulations on a great looking model!
Have you flown her yet?
I have one and found that it flies great but is a bit quirky and does need to be flown all the time. This seems to be on keeping with the full sized.
You can find build and flight reports at www.thevintageaviator.co.nz
Here's a pic of mine.

Unfortunately not. The spinner disintegrated on my on run ups. I am waiting for the Hangar 9 plane to come out so I can purchase their spinner.
What size battery are you using? I had difficulty balancing mine. I added about 4 ounces of lead to the nose and will be trying a 3000mah lipo.
