Charles, when you installed Real Flight Generation 2 on your
computer, it opened immediately without trouble?
|
No, when I first installed I had sound but could see only a white screen. I contacted Great Planes and they told me to run the automatic upgrade from the disks CPANEL.EXE, and that fixed it.

Do you use the futaba style controller? Is your processor a
Pentium or AMD processor?

I built my own controller out of an old Futaba radio just for fun, it works interchangeably with the Futaba controller that came with the software. Processor is a AMD T-bird.

My Real Flight Deluxe Sim. was purchased 1 year ago october,
ver. 1.20. It is not compatible with Windows ME or Windows
XP, and great planes does not have a patch for it.

If you have tried the update and it still doesnt work the only thing I can think to try is to run the program in 98 mode. I'd be surprised if it works but its worth a try. Right click on the RealFlight desktop shortcut, go to properties, then compatibility, then choose 98 for mode.

No, when freshly installed I get white screen only but after the auto update I have had no problems.
