Hey doug! I love this plane. Chances if getting to ID that weekend are slim - Its just too long a drive for what appears to be consistently unsettles weather - which could deliver rain - extreme wind - or lightning! ill save my distance contests points with the family for the tricities and Oregon

I heard about your mishap with your new pike...im so sorry -

Call Bob - give this bird a try man.

This new model retains all the things I love about the first version, and also does the things I wished it would.

Sorry I got it....Bob is also selling the Perfection which looks very good.....

Actually it would be better for David if he felt he was flying the BEST sailplane in South Africa...the Canadians need David to do his thing......

I dont think that the Canadian team needs me to drink beer and make smart ass comments Larry - thats truly my thing

But all kidding aside - mental zen is a powerful thing. Larry is right - you can win with a maxa - an Xplorer - a perfection - an Egida (note spelling) they are all great designs.

I have comitted to flying what I have and flying it alot so that by the time I get to SA there has been no stone unturned in terms of flying all conditions available to me here in BC. I am confident I have made the best choice for me as a pilot.

Despite my frequent comments and jabs at Larry and Tuomo on airframe weights, F3J tactics etc I know I am still on the steep part of the learning and experience curve for F3J. I realize the points I take or fail to take will be a factor of choices at the sticks.

Hey Webb,

I see you guys are having a NWSS contest in June. Will you have room for an overnight guest?

If this X2 is that much better than my 3.7 ST... it must be a helluva sailplane... Who knows... maybe next year... I'm broke and blue because I work too much and now own 2 RVs...... but just until my daughter comes to get the smaller one...

Thanks for all the replies... it DOES look interesting...

For J im using 809's on the ailerons and 761 on the flaps and elevator. The rudder is a coin toss between what I have in my inventory and weather or not I need to keep the nose extra lite. Either work perfectly well.
