Need some advice for steering servo for racing

I plan on getting into 4wd short course racing and i am not sure what servo speed and torque i should aim for. i am looking at a hitec servo at 6v with a transit time of .07 and torque of 188 oz if i remember correctly. will this be plenty for a 4wd short course truck for steering in race conditions.

188oz/in is a TON of power for a 1/10th scale SCT.

ok is the speed gonna be too much or not. i was starting to think that 188oz or torque might be on the high end but can there be too much. i just want a high quality servo that won't crap out on me at the last minute.

The servo only reacts as fast as your hand/fingers, so if you move slowly so does the servo.

You can't have too much power really, just don't spend a fortune to get that much power. 100oz/in should be plenty for a SCT.

id go savox, i have a hitecs in all of mine and when i compare them to my mates savox servos which were the same price they are in another league. The hitecs have ALOT! of play in the gears and for about $70 (the same price as my hitec when i bought it which is a HS5625MG) you can get a savox with the same torque, 0.07 to 60 degrees and basicly no play in the gears.
