This is a "field charger" for the Hobbyzone 7.2v 900mah NiHM or NiCad batteries. It can be used for the battery that comes with the Firebird, Firebird, Firebird XL, Hobbico Flyzone Skyfly, Zig Zag, Firebird Commander II...and any other RC vehicle that uses a 7.2v 900mah NiHM or NiCad battery. This is a "speed" charger to limit the amount of charge time in the field. It is a timed charger (45 minutes), so the battery should be placed on the charger in the uncharged state, monitored, and only left on the charger for approx 45 minutes. Instructions included.

HobbyZone has developed a line of simple-to-use field chargers for owners of the Firebird, Firebird II and Firebird XL. Each charger can fully recharge a depleted battery in approximately 45 minutes. Just plug it in to an automobile lighter outlet and connect the Firebird battery. When the LED indicator on the charger case stops flashing, the battery is ready for use.

The 7.2V charger is intended for use with the Firebird XL battery pack.

Because each charge cycle lasts a full 45 minutes, regardless of the amount of charge left in a battery, it is important to completely discharge the respective battery before using the charger.

**Do not use the charger while the car is running. Doing so could result in damage.
