Thats a nice looking wing Tom. I all most got the PT-40, but went with the eagle mk2. I'll try to put up some pics soon.

how did the Eagle fly with the flaps?

I live in Laurel. and am learning how to fly at Kontera Field

Tom, my eagle 2 has flaparons, and they worked out very well. She will slow down to almost walking speed, and just float. I only had time for one flight so far. The next plane I build I will be building her with proper flaps. Here are some pics, sorry I dont have any of the flaparons.

This is very close to the plane type and configuration (dihedral, airfoil, etc) to the PT 60 only its the Eagle is smaller. Am I to understand that you are using four wing servos? How much lengthe of the ailerons is made into flaps ( I havent cut my ailerons yet)?

I only have two servos mounted side by side in the center of the wing. The ailerons are full length and act as both flaps and ailerons (flaperons). I would have like to made them with independent flaps (four servos two for flaps two for ailerons) but I made the mod as a last minuet change. I had already installed the torque rods and it was just easier to do it this way. If I build another eagle 2 I will make it with independent flaps. Hope that makes sense. I'll post pics of the setup tonight.

I've built two versions of the wing one per spec with one servo and lots of dihedral and another with four servos and much less dihedral.
