A quick test of Chris' Pursuit after putting a TP Power 2200 kv motor in it. Running a little too wet from the extra weight.

The wind was blowing pretty good when we started the Q Offshhore heat. I was the 2nd boat upside down (Brian was 1st, Hugh 3rd) and Jeremy takes the last man standing win. (kinda... his boat quit on the last lap.)

Testing some CNC aluminum props on the Red Bull twin. Really needed a little calmer day for it. Topped out about 56 mph on the 1st run down the straight (before it went aerobatic).

Last one today.
I had to try it. Even in the heavy wind. (just ask the guys that were running the boats how it was blowing)

This is round 2 of LSO Scott again takes the "last man standing" win.
Shot from my HT-FPV Quad using the "dice cam" (a better SD card made a lot of difference in jello effect and dropped frames it had before). Close up's of the boats aren't there like you can get with a handheld with zoom. I'm still kind of impressed with the video since I was just guessing on where to point it. No FPV on this quad (yet}.

Second Sunday in Nov is the 11th. That's the day we'd normally run on. The month starts on a Thursday so not really sure of what you'd consider the the 2nd week Does yours run Mon thru Fri? I know I see lots of your videos are shot on days off through the week.

It's not just jello, under harder yaw you can actually see it vibrate too. It's really noticeable if there's something detailed in view as it's yawing and seems to be worse turning left than right.
If I had a Hero 2 I'd use the 127* FOV. (and would use it always instead of the dice cam) The 170* makes things too far away and too small.

My Hobby King HD Wing cam arrived Thursday.
I did a clip for comparisons of the different capture settings today. Flying with my Hover Things FPV quad it looks as if I need to do a little better job of balancing my props, but will eventually get all the "jello" effect taken care of.

Other than that, I'm really very impressed with the video quality. This video starts at the 720P60 setting, then to 720P30, followed by 1080P30 and Full HD30. It's a little longer than I originally intended at 7 minutes but it took a little over the anticipated 90 seconds on each setting to get up to altitude, make a pass or two and back down again.
I like this camera. It's much better than the HobbyPartz "dice cam"

Don't know about your house, but you can definately see Sarasota Bay a couple of times. I shot that operating from the Episcopal (I think) Church parking lot a couple of blocks from my place.

Here's a bit of video from mine today:

BlueSky Sypder Quad - Exploring a Park (7 min 43 sec)

My props are much closer, still need a bit more work or better isolation for the camera. I got a bit of work done on the 2 axis camera gimbal today, hopefully I can finish it up this week and get it tuned for some video next weekend.

I'm going to have to come back and watch this one after youtube gets finished with it's processing. I will say that the places where it paused, the resolution looked really good. You could make some good stills from them.
Nice scenery up there with the leaves changing colors like they are. Down here they are either green or brown.

Shot some more video with the Hobby King cam today at Wattfest. It was windy enough to be "challenging" and actually got some pretty good footage (even if by accident)
Shot at 720P 60 resolution then rendered as HD 1080P 60 wmv for upload

2012 Wattfest01 (6 min 37 sec)

Just to give an idea of how windy it was, here's my Hobby King Vampire. Check out the "Harrier" landing.
