forum, im looking into the mxs 30cc from ohio model planes but just wana make sure "their legitimately worthy"

I talked to some of the OMP guys at the Toledo show today and they seem pretty legit to me. I however have never ordered from them.

yes they are a "legit" company that has been around for years...
I know most of the guys over there well

I had there EPP yak 54 stiffy a couple years back and it flew great.

OMP (Ohio Model Products) is located in the region of South Western, Ohio.

They are an importer and do have fluctuations in their inventory as do all legit importers that stay in business.

Many advertise product before it has cleared customs and arrived in their shops (anyone bought a DX18 yet?).

John and his wife have been involved in the Hobby for many years.
I think they got into the OMP business around 1996? John flew pattern many years ago before large scale gas was getting popular, they can easily help with your questions and needs.

I know of individual who has received great customer service when they did have an issue with a product.

Yes they are a legitimate company. They used to make some of the best profiles around (Fusion, ProYak, Hybrid), etc, but have shifted their focus to fatties in recent years. I've never flown any of their full figured products, though, so can't comment on their quality.

Are you looking at an MXS or and MX-2. If it's the MX-2 it's from EG Aircraft. I've been flying it's 100cc big brother and couldn't be happier. I'd say the airframe is every bit as high quality as a 3DHS or EF bird, but the in-packed hardware is definitely not as good and the support with EG is hit or miss.

They are a well establish company with a good reputation. nice people too

OMP is a very good dealer.
They sponsor IMAC pilots and are big supporters of the hobby.

from what ive read im game! EG aircraft 30cc mxs breitling. i already have it. AMAZING ARF. superb quality really.

At least 8 models from OMP fly at my field great company my LHS buys from him

My flying buddy recently bought a 35% Yak from them with nothing but praise of the process. He was very happy they use Greyhound to ship which saved him a lot of $$.
