No worries guys and congrats on y'all making the Team. What a strong US team this is!
Now if I'm to help I need some cooperation - what I need ASAP to get this done is the Team Bios (Snrs and Jnrs) and a preferred photo etc. Please email to me direct at gordon at buckland.com

I'll allow use of all of the photos for non-profit, non-exclusive use I just want to know where they're going and I appreciate you asking. FYI, I don't have any sort of "Model Release" for these, so if someone is particular about their image being used, pick a different one.

Sure will Shawn.... They are really nice photos!
Thanks a lot

In sorting out my stuff from the contest, I see I have one XL Polo left over. I'll offer it up for $30 plus actual shipping. PM me if you're interested.

Jason,
It was fun to watch you fly and improve once Gary dropped that Vandal into your hands! I was nearby when Mike M was urging you to run downwind to catch that distant thermal, great job!

So I was looking at the F3F WC scoring and in addition to the individual round and total scores they are also posting a chart showing the progression of the top ten positions. I think that's a great way to present contest data. It shows very quickly how people are flying... i.e. who's flying constently, who if any anybody is in command, etc. So, I plotted up the path of the top 10 pilots from this contest. See attached graph.

Jun and George owned this contest! The real fight was between the two california Mike's (Smith and Seid) for 3rd place. You can clearly see where Charlie dug himself a nice deep hole not only once but twice (and then climbed his way out)! And Gary! Wow... bet you wish you could have thrown out Saturday morning . But great flying the rest of the weekend.

Edit: And it appears the contest was pretty much decided by the first drop...

Wonder how hard it would be to add that ability for all the contestants in F3KScore?

Might want to be able to limit how many get plotted or pick the range of places one wishes to graph.

Really cool data.

I would like to know what happened in the 16th round when Charlie dropped 4 places and Mike M., Gary, J.,Jim S. and Bruce D. all moved up from their round 15 totals?

How many points were needed to be lost to drop 4 places in a single round scoring after 16 rounds!

Charlie, I feel for you man!. It really shows your level of determination and skill to come back from so low and so often. I am sure you'll be standing on many podiums to come....

All I see there is sweet Domination by Jun, edging out Mike, Mike, and George early and posting big numbers to hold them off.

I wouldn't have it any other way on our team at the top.

That is a really cool way to see the big picture of the placings battles going on.

Thanks Finch.

I will be wearing purple to the next contest. Mikey, please wear red so I always know where you are.

I love seeing what the germans did for f3f wcs. I've never seen it better. Thanks for doing this for the wcs ts.
