Congrats guys. Going to be a strong team again..

Well Jun and George made it again. Congrats. Mike Smith as usual you flew great and a well deserved spot on the team. Mike Seid man you are a great pilot and congrats on your finish.

Everyone deserves our thanks for putting on a great show.

I know the seniors are good now we need to step up and get these Junior F3k team members all the support we can. They are the future.

This weekend was awesome. Thanks Dave(s) for putting on a great contest. Thanks Gary J. for letting me borrow the vandal and the Sd-10g, I don't know how to thank you. Thanks everyone else for sharing shade and all my timers! I got a lot of good advice this weekend. Nice job Alex and Alex you guys gave me a realiatic goal to try and match. Looking foward to Denmark, see all of you soon!

Congratulations to the winners. This was the most brutal contest I've ever flown. The weather flat out sucked but we got in sixteen rounds. We were flying four flight groups and 17A and 17B had stupid good air for grannies all around but the clouds were coming in quick, and 17C finished flying in some murderous conditions of overcast and wind that saw some of the top five guys not able to cash in the 1:15 in the ladder The wind was just too much to get in the 17D group so the CD called it.

We saw wind, rain, setting up canopies, tearing down canopies, running to protect airframes, dust, wind, more tearing down canopies, more setting up canopies, heat, dust, wind, darkness, a TFR, more wind, more dust, more setting up and tearing down canopies and a few rounds were just plain nice with sunny variable conditions. One thing was certain: whatever weather you had in one flight group, the next was likely to be different.

The winners earned it. The hosts were great with supplying fantastic accommodations for the weekend, and I'm damn glad its over. Good times, and we'll be well represented in the worlds.

I will organize some junior practice sessions from now until the worlds, since two of the three live pretty close by. I'll probably start a practice thread here in a month or two so that anyone who wants to come by and help out or fly with us can do so. Alex, Alex, and Jason I'm proud of all three of you.

I'm off to catch a redeye tonight so I can be at work in a little over 15 hours. Next week will be a long one.

Hey Tom, Greater Detroit has two more DLG contests this year. If you or Gavin decide to have a contest or two in Dayton we can give the JR team Alexs' three or four more contests to practice in this year.
