Tail dragger CP airframe?

Are there any tail dragger CP airframes out there? As much as I liked/like the design "'way back then", I always disliked the nose gear as it caused a lot of headaches, at least for me.

Thanks!!

Ken

I was thinking about this with retracts. I have the CAD drawing on file so would just need to scale it for a 60 size bird. The local Staples store can print it for 50 cents a square foot from a PDF file.

Jeff Tracy did a "Super Circus" which was non-retract taildragger version of his super gemini in 1976.

Nice looking ship! It looks like retracts would be a relatively easy thing to add.

Ken,

what you say is true of many a classic pattern design. Converting to conventional is not a huge challenge. It's more a matter of whether the idea suits the design and whether the balance of gear ends up affecting the design significantly. One one looses the nose gear, the model balances differently. Usually not hard to overcome though through diligent component weight distribution.
