Icon 1 for sale. Here is the ad where I got it from.
What I did to it:
Fix the damaged rudder tip.
Sand down the servo covers to fit the indentations in the wing.
Change the holes on the flap and aileron servos to maximize centering and torque.
Replace one servo in the wing.
Resolder the battery pack.
Damage and repair the stab slightly, cosmetic only.
Add a skeg.
I flew this for fun and in a few contests in Sacramento always on windy days. It comes with a full ballast set and flies very well up to full, about 8 1/2 pounds. Yes it will handle and thermal out nicely at that weight.
Includes a 72 mhz receiver if you want it.
I have a nice shipping box that it came in. I like the plane but have a Pike Perfect and haven't flown the Icon in a while.
$800 + shipping
