It's kind of strange that there are now 2 people in the past few pages with helis that look bad gyros? Maybe?

That looks like a mechanical issue, how does your tail move without the tail rod connected?

I had a 450pro that did similar (though not at Fast forward), and it turned out to be bad bearings. Somewhere something is binding

Mechanical I would say. Also what are you doing with the tail servo?

He also mentioned a bunch of sub-trim just to get it off the ground. Then it does that.

Yeah, if you are trying to fight a mechanical issue with the tx the gyros will get even more confused

I still would like to know what happens to the swash after you apply throttle. No motor and no sub trims.

Yes that would show one issue and he should do that test too to check if he is getting added cyclic on take off. Though that would not cause main the issue in that video.

Are you talking about the tail rod to the servo? It is connected. It's just not the stock servo. It's a DS95.

Also, some of the mechanical issues could be because of these mods (most likely is) I just installed the DFC style head and tail mods.

It slowly pushes forward and slightly left.

Mine does that when I add sub-trim. That's where we need to figure out why. Does it stop tilting or start to bind?

No, If I don't stop it - it just slams into the ground. I was watching some other dude on YouTube with the same problem on his 130X and he was using a Spektrum. I called HH, but he wanted to get into the whole "settings" conversation and I can't. I'm not running a Spektrum - and if they knew that, they wouldn't help me, Plus all those "non-Eflight" mods.

Tail rod, disconnect it and mover your tail slider around to check and see if you feel any binding. Move those grips around and see if it is nice and no noticeable notches as you turn it. Make sure when you do this you disconnect the grips from the slider and do them one by one or you can miss an issue.

On the DFC head, can you move it much with your hands via the dampers? DFC needs a very tight, low slop head

Interesting developments Couldn't do a vid of my own bird, but here's a link describing the exact same issue.

watch at 1:55 how the swashplate on 130X #2 moves on its own.

Also a very long description explaining how AS3X doesn't work as, say, a BeastX would, and why subtrim might not have so much ill effect. Can't say whether this is spot on or wishful thinking of course.

We'll see how it goes when I have the chance to hit the field again.
