Perhaps you are confusing quality control with QC which I believe in the case of HH ,E Flite , Blade stands for Quick Check.

And make sure your tail rotor shaft is square, some weren't square from the manufacturer

What size orings do you use?

They carry DeoxIT D-series, not the Fader series.

Boca Bearings directionality?

I just got my bocas finally for the tail from the LHS, but are these tapered or directional in any way? I just want to make sure I put them in correctly. Also I've heard some have glued them in, do I need to do that or is press fit fine?

Yup, I actually didnt use the o-rings on the bottom of the pitch links, they rubbed on the swash.

If you are asking about the tail shaft bearings, they are flanged and will go in only one way.

The originals are clearly flanged, but the boca bearings that I got are not. Are the bocas also supposed to be flanged? If so, I guess I got the wrong bearings somehow...

I broke the stupid little plastic pin off of the pitch slider when taking the tail apart, barely touched it and it just broke off. REDICULOUS. I drilled out where the plasticrap pin was and glued in a piece of metal rod the same diameter of the pin. I think it will do but I'm nervous that these new bearings aren't flanged...

Yup LHS ordered the wrong bearings, these fit in the holes but are NOT flanged. Lovely. I'll have to have them order the correct ones, which I see are now unavailable. Awesome. I wonder if these ones without the flanges will fit in the tail shaft for the TT?

It seems that many of the servos have very bad solder joints where the motor leads attach to the servo boards. Two of mine needed resloding when new and I have read many post of others have the same issue.

There have also been reports of the tail servo falling apart as in the screws that hold the mechanics on the board back out and some have been reported as having the threads striped on new ones.

I had the right cyclic servo go full up and the motor burning out right when I lifted off on flight #63. Voltage reqgulator on main board got hot enough to melt and split the heat shrink. I replaced the servo and informed Blade but to date only an email from them requesting photos ot the control board. Go figure I only asked about a relacement servo and only mentioned the control board in case it developed issues later.

I would suggest ordering some good quality bearings from Boca.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't see the previous post. You did get Boca. These are the one's I ordered: SMF681X-ZZ.
