A few things JAD. A 70cm (27 inch) hull will NOT handle a 6000KV motor. A "blower" on a motor/esc in an RC boat will almost never work, the amp draw is to high the electronics NEED to be water cooled. And lastly, boat ESC's are designed to be run at WOT, less than that will result in extreme heat and eventually failure even if the components are water cooled. An sv27 is roughly the same size a your hull and uses a motor 1/3 the size to reach speeds of around 40mph stock. You WILL have a fireball on the water if you use that motor.

I'm talking about a Fiberglass boat water cooled and there are vents that allow fresh air to enter and a blower is installed for more cooling don't forget that the pure weight of the boat (empty without system) is 2kg .
btw what boat do you have and what's the motor installed ?

i have an SV27R with a stock system and at times i change out the motor and ESC to a AQ2030KV and a Seaking 120 ESC. I also repowered my mystic 29 with a leopard 4074 2200KV motor Seaking 180A ESC and run an m445 S&Bed prop.

very nice I like it !
btw I've designed my boat and I've manufactured from fiberglass for the first time I've put dual 400 Kv motors but it was slow so I've worked on the aerodynamics and the handling , now I'm putting 6000kv brushless motor just need information about it's propeller cz I can't put the old one build for the old motors !

the higher KV isnt really going to help with the weight. You need more torque not higher RPM. lower KV higher voltage. The lower KV motors will be able to push the weight much better than a high kv motor. Just my opinion.

if you ran a high voltage setup the torque would help you. The higher voltage allows the motors to spin faster and retain there torgue. My mystic 29 is about 2.5 kg with batts and reaches around 60mph.
